Sweet wines from the French Pyrenees are often overlooked but they provide incredible value. La Magendia is a blend of mostly Gros Manseng and some Petit Manseng. Depending on vintage this finishes with about 60-70g/L of residual sugar but with so much brilliant acidity the wines never come off as cloying or overly sweet.
