Reviewed January 2026Vermilion with a lighter rim. Just a little more in the way of red berry fruit on the nose. Raspberry with a strawberry edge in the mouth, with enough fruit to cover the acidity better than was the case in the Chassagne. Drink from 2027-2030. Tasted Oct 2025.

The 2024 Santenay Vieilles Vignes has fine lift on the nose with simple red cherry and raspberry fruit, straightforward yet well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, quite open already and fleshy with a nicely detailed smooth finish.(NM)
