Note: from a .69 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines. A very ripe yet still agreeably fresh nose combines notes of cassis, plum and forest floor trimmed in moderate wood influence. There is fine volume, density and power to the larger-scaled flavors that flash evident minerality on the compact, firm and equally built-to-age finale. This is almost always the best 1er in the Harmand range but in 2022 it appears that the Champeaux will give it a run for its money.*Burghound Outstanding!*
