Review Date: 01/2024Impressively dark in color, this is dense and flavorful on the palate. Mocha, forest floor and blackberries dance across the palate. Finessed tannins and vigorous freshness give this length and moreish-ness. This wine has definitely achieved a step up this vintage.

Note: 30+ year old vines. Super-fresh yet ripe aromas of poached plum, dark currant and a whiff of warm earth precede the rich and voluminous medium-bodied flavors that also exude a subtle minerality on the youthfully austere, more compact and balanced finish that offers slightly better depth and persistence.*Burghound Outstanding!*
