Classic to the core, the 2021 Brunello di Montalcino mixes crushed black cherries and strawberries with dusty roses, violets and a cascade of autumnal spice to form its gorgeous bouquet. It displays textures of pure silk and polished red berry fruits, all perfectly supported by cooling acidity. A web of fine tannins frames the finish as hints of clove and tart woodland berries fade. Pouring a transparent red hue with orange-tinged edges, the 2021 Brunello Di Montalcino is bright and lifted on the nose, with orange zest, cranberries, cinnamon, minty herbs, and toasted clove. The palate is medium-bodied and linear, with bright acidity, dusty tannins, and mouthwatering notes of citrus, dusty cedar, and refreshing salinity that linger through the finish.
