Review Date: 10/2025The 2024 Riesling Dhroner Hofberg Spätlese was harvested at 86 degrees of Oechsle. It is ripe but without botrytis. The nose is still shy, but the palate is already shimmering with shades of passion fruit, peach and tangerine. These notions are subtle and emanating from that profound core of gentle sweetness on the svelte, bright, elongated body. This wonderfully elegant Spätlese unites aromatic, ripe white peach with gorgeous grapefruit and lemon zestiness. The 2024 is totally elegant. (Sweet)(AK)

The 2024 Hofberg Spätlese, as it is referred to on the consumer label, was made from fruit harvested at 86° Oechsle on the main hill and was fermented down to sweet levels of residual sugar (75 g/l). This offers a beautiful nose made of peach, prune, brown sugar, a touch of cream, and fine spices. The wine proves beautifully balanced and subtly zesty on the palate and leaves a nice fresh feel in the long finish. 2034-2054."(10/2025)
