The 2022 Arinto Antigo, which wears the subtitle Vinhas Velhas, old vines, fermented in lagar and was kept in contact with the skins; therefore, it displays a darker golden color and a much more perfumed nose, with notes almost reminiscent of a Moscatel. It's textured, has some fine tannins and keeps the varietal profile, saline and with some austerity. This matured in French oak barrels with fine lees for 18 months. It has very good parameters: 12% alcohol, a pH 3.23 and 5.93 grams of acidity, with contained ripeness and good freshness. This is only the second vintage they have released. (LG)
