The 2013er Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Alte Reben, as it is referred to on the front label (GG is engraved on the glass of the bottle), has a delicately aromatic and floral nose of bergamot, white peach, cherry blossom, tangerine, spices, jasmine, and plum, all wrapped in a blanket of smoke. The wine proves nicely aromatic on the palate and the fruity side gives it a feeling of light sweetness, yet the finish is beautifully dry, spicy, and herbal. There is superb length and a great playful and refreshing side. This is a superb dry Riesling. Now-2033."(01/2015)
