Reviewed January 2025Picked at the same time of the same day as Pierre-Yves Colin Morey’s holding of Caillerets. A clear green streak in the colour, and a beautifully stony bouquet. Wonderful delicacy without appearing in any way dilute. Drink from 2029-2035. Tasted Oct 2024.

Note: from a .75 ha parcel of 35 to 40-year-old vines. Discreet wood sets off prominent petrol-suffused aromas laced with plenty of citrus zest, pear, apple and spice wisps. The delicious, vibrant and slightly denser medium-bodied flavors exude evident minerality on the youthfully austere, powerful and hugely long finale. This is clearly built-to-age yet it's not so compact that it couldn't be reasonably approached after only 4 to 5 years.*Burghound Sweet Spot Outstanding!*
