Review Date: 01/2025A clear green tint to the colour. The nose shows that this is a Garenne with some flesh. Very old vines here which belonged to an aunt and godmother. Quite fleshy and a bit more oak showing. Picked on 7th September. Drink from 2027-2032. Tasted Oct 2024.

The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet La Garenne 1er Cru has an attractive bouquet of Granny Smiths, pears and touches of crushed stone. The palate is well balanced with accents of tropical fruit, but it lacks a bit of tension and mineralité on the finish compared to the Chassagnes.(NM)
