Paler in colour with a restrained nose up front. This builds quietly but impressively, compact but with an impressive energy of pure white orchard fruit. Additional intensity over and above Les Chaumées. Drink from 2028-2033. Tasted Oct 2025.

Note: from 2 parcels in Les Vergers proper and another in Pasquelles that total .70 ha. Here too the supporting wood is sufficiently prominent to mention on the more floral-suffused aromas of mineral reduction, green apple and crushed fennel. This is slightly sleeker, if not quite as dense, on the palate of the medium weight flavors that possess focused power and very fine length on the equally youthfully austere finale. As this stage, I have a slight preference for the Chaumées but this is lovely as well.*Burghound Outstanding!*
