Named after the limestone ridges of Vittoria, it undergoes a long, patient 32-month aging in large Slavonian oak barrels. The nose is a "cathedral of aromas," featuring dried black cherries, raspberries, and mulberries lifted by ethereal notes of orange blossom and tobacco. On the palate, it is harmonious and dense yet extraordinarily fresh, balancing a sea-salt sapidity with fine-meshed, dusty tannins. It finishes with a long, elegant echo of Mediterranean herbs and crushed stone.
