There's a ferrous touch evoking the red soils of the Vittoria area, with dark hedgerow berries and plenty of blood orange. Fresh, balanced and succulent, an undertone of dark chocolate lends depth, while the finish zings with pink grapefruit and cherry. Wonderful. (JB)
