The 2023 Nervi-Conterno Gattinara has not been released yet, as Roberto Conterno maintains a traditional, extended aging regimen for the estate's flagship Spanna. The current release on the market is the 2022 vintage. For a taste of the 2023 vintage from this historic volcanic terroir, the estate's 2023 "Il Rosato" (90% Nebbiolo, 10% Uva Rara) is currently available. It is a striking, bone-dry pink wine featuring high-toned jasmine, green tea, and snappy alpine red-berry fruit, driven by a rigid, mineral core.
