The 2022 Barolo Francia was bottled in May of 2025 and will not be released until Fall 2026. It pours a uniform ruby color and opens with pure aromas of raspberries, cranberries, bright spice, tangerine peel, clove, and dusty earth. Medium-bodied, it shows impressive balance for this warm vintage, avoiding any sense of heaviness while maintaining clarity and freshness. The tannins are refined and well-integrated, and the wine moves across the palate with ease, finishing long and precise. While approachable in its youth, it retains the structure expected from this site. (AF)
