The 2022 Barolo Francia is a total stunner. Rich, deep, layered and super expressive, the 2022 graces the palate with dark red cherry fruit, spice, rose petal, chalk, mint, blood orange and dried herbs. Bright acids and clean veins of minerality lend bracing energy throughout. Leave it to Roberto Conterno and his team to make one of the most compelling wines of the vintage. (AG) 95+
