Even in this warm, dry year, the 2022 Barolo Arione offers tons of the mineral and savory intensity that is such a signature of this site. Sage, dried herbs, graphite, menthol, licorice and white pepper complement a core of deeply layered, dark Serralunga fruit. The rich mid-palate and sustained finish suggest a very bright future. (AG)
