A depth of brambly black and blue fruit dazzles on the well-structured palate of the 2024 Pinot Noir, layered in light bolts of baking spice, forest, and black tea. Balanced acidity keeps it fresh and lively and inviting in its youth. Drink now through 2032.

A nicely concentrated, medium-bodied wine with aromas of black fruit, bay laurel, roses, sage, earth, umami and wild blackberries. Rich flavors, yet incredibly fresh and lifted. Drink or hold.

Another rocking value, the 2024 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir from Brick & Mortar showcases the dark, brambly fruit character I always associate with this region. A little deeper and more brooding than the Sonoma Coast bottling, it leans toward blackberry, dark cherry, dried herbs, and forest floor. Polished tannins and a subtle touch of oak spice lift the wine and linger through the finish.
It is still a baby, but already drinking beautifully, needing only a few swirls in the glass to awaken the aromas. Incredible QPR.
