The 2024 Chablis villages this year is going to be a lovely example. The bouquet is brightand precise, offering up a classic blend of grapefruit, lemon, chalky minerality, citrus peel and justa whisper of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and focused, with a beautifulcore of succulent fruit, great mineral undertow, zesty acids and beautiful balance on the long,vibrant and complex finish. This is a beautiful villages. 2026-2050+.

From harvest that began on 23 September, Dauvissat's 2024 Chablis is showing well. Rising from the glass with cool-toned aromas of crisp pear and oyster juice mingling with orange peel, it is medium-bodied and racy, with bright acids and a taut frame lending the wine energy that carries through to a long, mouthwatering finish.(KK)
