There's something about a clean and well-made Chardonnay that's just perfect in a lot of ways. We try a lot of things and I get disenchanted now and then, but sometimes there's a Chardonnay that really pulls its all together. This is that Chardonnay. (cue music) There's a honeyed note to the apples and pears, and the lemon in the nose is more candied than not, and there's this lovely roundness from what smells like a bit of barrel contact, but of course the palate is delightfully dry. There's some jasmine with the bruised apples and lemon candy on the palate and it's got a really lovely depth with a sort of wet stone and barrel spice finish. This is super high quality Chardonnay for anyone who likes well made and high quality wines.
