The 2024 "Ronco del Cerò" is a quintessential and electric expression of Collio Sauvignon, embodying the freshness and aromatic complexity that Gianni Venica has mastered over generations. This vintage is particularly vibrant, benefiting from a balanced growing season that allowed for a wide olfactory spectrum. The nose is a multi-layered explosion of gooseberry, white grapefruit, and passion fruit woven together with sophisticated green notes of cassis leaf, elderflower, and calamint (nepitella). On the palate, it is medium-bodied and razor-sharp, balancing its ripe tropical fruit core with a striking savory-mineral vein and high-voltage acidity. The finish is exceptionally long and persistent, leaving a clean, salty trail and a refreshing citrus lift. True to the Venica style, 90% of the wine is aged in stainless steel while 10% is fermented and aged in large wooden barrels for six months on the fine lees, adding a subtle textural depth without masking the purity of the fruit
