Solid dark purple, with a slightly chunky deep raspberry on the nose. Firm, slightly tannic, a little bit animal. Plenty of depth but this will always be on the muscular side. Drink from 2026-2028. Tasted Nov 2024.

The 2023 Bourgogne Côte d'Or comes from two parcels near Santenay and Puligny. It has pretty cranberry and raspberry scents on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with dark berry fruit and slightly rigid tannins, and a finish that feels a bit compact at the moment, though it had just been bottled a few months earlier.(NM)
