Note: from a .70 ha parcel of 50+ year old vines. A distinctly earthy and brooding nose features notes of wild red berries, plenty of sauvage and a touch of forest floor component. The succulent but sleek and tension-filled bigger-bodied flavors display excellent power on the firm, serious, youthfully austere and impressively long finish that isn't robust, but it is muscular. This too is terrific but as it always is, a wine that will require patience.*Burghound Sweet Spot! Outstanding!*

Glowing red purple. There is plenty of fruit density here in the Pruliers. A few darker fruit notes, a touch more oak showing from this barrel, but easily enough fruit density to surmount that. A good result. Drink from 2030-2036. Tasted Nov 2025.
