There's this kind of raspberry yogurt thing going on in the nose, and then it's joined with some blueberry, black cherry, a little bit of laurel or sage on the edges. This is just a really easy kind of wine, the kind that you open with friends and you just enjoy it, maybe empty a couple bottles and nobody says much just a little nod after the first sip to say "Oh yeah, this is totally going to work" and at the end of the night they take one of the bottles, checks out the label and asks where you got it. It's that kind of easy and friendly wine. The palate is really kind of lush and mid+ rich, lots of ripe and slightly stewed fruits, with a little bit of leather and cocoa in the very back on the finish. Budget banger bargain bottle. 4Bs.
