The palate has a smooth texture and hints of tropical fruit, though it retains Burgundian DNA. A generous stem ginger note enlivens the finish.(NM)

A discreet application of wood can be found on the fresher nose of with orchard fruit and citrus zest aromas. The sleek, delicious and generously proportioned middle weight flavors retain good punch on the clean,
dry and slightly firmer finale. This needs a year or two of bottle aging as it’s somewhat simple today.

Also in bottle. 20% new wood. Pale colour, with attractive clean fruit, middleweight, quite steely, no great concentration, but a well-made Bourgogne Chardonnay which does what it says on the label. Drink from 2025-2027. Tasted Oct 2024.
