From vines planted in 1922, the 2017 Zinfandel Sadie Upton Vineyard is pale to medium ruby-purple in color with a nose of red cherries, blueberries, dried autumn leaves and soil hints. Medium to full-bodied, it has a red and blue fruit core with notes of coconut and earthy nuances, framed by grainy tannins and good freshness, finishing long and spicy. (EB)
