The 2024 Périphérie Estate Ibarra-Young Vineyard is a compelling co-ferment of 45% Marsanne, 40% Syrah and 15% Mourvèdre, made in an infusion-like style with fully destemmed fruit. Finessed and so polished, it boasts attractive layers of hibiscus, rooibos tea, exotic spice, rose petal and salted raspberry. The texture here is supremely refined, and the finish is long, complex and finely chiseled. I haven't tasted anything else like this. Fabulous.
