On the palate, it is medium-bodied and surprisingly complex, balancing a savory mineral core with firm, chalky tannins and a vibrant acidity. The finish is exceptionally long and dry, showing a sophisticated "airy bitterness" and none of the tiring sweetness often found in the category.
