2024 Ktima Zafeirakis Assyrtiko Tirnavos Greece

Following his family in the tradition of winemaking, Christos Zafeirakis began his practice and study of wine in Italy. When he returned home, he established his winery in the foothills of Mount Olympus, the seat of the Greek gods and one of the most historic wine producing regions in Greece. One of Christos' main goals was to reestablish the nearly extinct grape variety, Limniona as well as elevate the quality of the indigenous grape, Malagousia. Christos began organic practices back in 2005 and introduced biodynamics to his vineyards on 2019.
