The 2023 Chardonnay H. Klopp Vineyard is an intriguing, dynamic wine. Apricot, white flowers, white pepper and oyster shell take shape in the glass. The Klopp Chardonnay is tightly wound and quite reticent. Even so, it has room to grow. Picking on the early side yields an especially austere style. (AG)
