The "Quattrocento" is an edgy and vibrant sparkling wine from the limestone-rich hills of Gussago. A blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, it is aged for 40 moons (40 months) on the lees and bottled with zero added sulfur. The nose is frank and fragrant, offering notes of cedar, acacia flowers, and toasted almonds with an oxidative hint of fresh pastry. On the palate, it is taut and muscular, defined by a sharp, saline mineral core and explosive citrus energy. A serious, "grower" style sparkler that prioritizes raw tension and structural depth over simple fruit.
