2022 Jax Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Sourced from the Jax Estate, a 2.5-hectare site with silty loam soils at the base of Mt. St. Helena in Calistoga, this wine was aged for 22 months in 66% new French oak. A stylish, easy-going red, it showcases lush dark berry fruit and sandalwood character. On the palate, the wine offers a satiny texture with plump, supple tannins, finishing with notes of crushed walnuts and a lingering richness. A nicely composed, high-value red, this bottling reflects Jax's commitment to quality and accessibility. In 2012, Dan Parrott became a proprietor of the Jax brand and began working alongside winemaker Kirk Venge, further refining the estate’s signature style. (JC)
