A serious, tactile and precise rosé with redcurrants, sour cherries and potpourri. It's medium-bodied with fresh acidity. Silky texture, so refined, yet full of verve and ambition. The fresh finish has a caressing texture and a floral influence. Drink or hold.

Paul Fumoso's Rosé de saignée, crafted from Grenache, Mourvèdre and Cinsault, has firmly secured its place among the finest rosés of the appellation. Fresh red fruits and rose-petal aromas soar from the glass, lifted by a hint of yellow apple. Generous and concentrated yet tactile and refined, the medium-bodied 2024 Gigondas Rosé .26 stands shoulder to shoulder with the equally delicious 2023 I tasted last year. (NG)

The 2024 Domaine du Gour de Chaulé Gigondas Rosé is structured for the table, with the precise architecture not only to carry a meal but to enchant, offering vibrant notes of ume plum paste, cherry, and strawberry, finished with a whisper of fresh fennel. Certified organic.

Deeply colored and bold in personality, this Gigondas rosé delivers intensity you rarely see in the category. Ripe raspberry, red currant, and dried Provençal herbs jump from the glass, followed by a broad, structured palate with savory grip and a slightly bitter, refreshing finish. The saignée method and partial demi-muid aging add weight and complexity while keeping it balanced and drinkable. This is a powerhouse rosé built for late-season drinking and hearty Mediterranean food.
