This legendary site in the heart of westside Russian River is championed by producers such as Ramey and Williams-Selyem, as well as producing their own highly acclaimed estate produced wines. Gary Farrel has bottled Rochioli wines since the 1990s and has a long track record with this prestigious fruit. This 2021 vintage bottling is in a perfect spot to drink. The wine is still super vibrant and fresh with perfectly integrated, subtle oak caressing the which peach, baked golden orchard fruit, flaky croissant pastry, Marcona almond, and river stone mineral. Lovely ripe fruit and great texture on the palate finely balanced with zippy acidity and phenolic tension that gives the wine such great length on the palate. Phenomenal Chardonnay worth $50+ any day of the week.
