2024 Orixe Sotelo "NEBOLA" Monterey County Arinto - Albariño White Blend

Gustavo Sotelo spends his days as a winemaker at Scribe in Sonoma, but he explores his family's history and passions with the Orixe Sotelo label alongside his wife. The winery says, "The Nebola bottling was made with reverence for the very fun, refreshing, low alcohol, bright, and slightly spritzy wines of the region of Getariko Txakolina in the Spanish Basque country. The 2024 vintage is charged with aromas of prickly pear and lime, interlaced with white tea tones. On the palate the wine brings everything one could expect from a classic Txakoli wine; mineral driven and slightly spritzy but with the bonus of juicy white peach and pomelo that comes from the added sunlight that our grapes get in California."
