The 2023 Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hill is a jeweled ruby red color and is ripe with notes of black cherry cordial, dark stones, pressed violets, and gravelly earth. Medium to full-bodied, it saturates the palate with ripe tannins, refreshing ripe acidity, and a long finish. Wow, this is a tremendous amount of wine for the price. Drink 2025-2040.

Known for its single-vineyard wines, this bottling is a blend from throughout the Eola Amity Hills appellation. Aromatics show fleshy red raspberry and strawberry fruits, an edgy, savoury raspberry leaf and a slight reduction. The palate is a touch austere, as this wine is still tightly wound: spiced wild strawberries, savoury dried herbs and plenty of smoky cloves to carry the finish. (CP)
