The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon 29 Estate is super-polished for the vintage. Medium in body, with terrific persistence, the 2022 is impeccably done. Red cherry/plum fruit, rose petal, cinnamon, cedar and new leather add layers of aromatic presence. All of this fruit is Grace clone, planted in 1989.

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon 29 Estate comes from the original east-facing vineyard on the western side of the Saint Helena AVA. Matured in 82% new French oak, it offers up seductive aromas of ripe black cherries and sage joined by obvious notes of vanilla and cedar. It's medium to full-bodied, framed by silky, wood-inflected tannins that actually add freshness to the fruit components. Concentrated and possessing terrific length.
