2022 Marine Layer "Whistler Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Pouring a jeweled ruby color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Whistler Vineyard has a lovely floral and fruity nose, with notes of ripe raspberries, pressed flowers, sweet fresh herbs, and mossy fresh earth. From the northernmost vineyard in the appellation, the palate is medium-bodied, with lovely ripeness and freshness on the palate, ripe tannins, and a good deal of length. It’s approachable but will benefit from another 6-12 months and drink well over a wide period of 8-10 years.
