2020 Brick & Mortar "Manchester Ridge Vineyard" Mendocino Ridge Pinot Noir

Int'l Wine Review
A darker, richer, and more complex Pinot Noir from Brick & Mortar, it’s my favorite from the lineup. Complex on the nose with aromas of dark cherries, brambly fruit, mocha candies, wet autumn leaves, toasted baking spices, and lush purple flower petals. The palate delivers crunchy, sweet tannins, mouthwatering acidity, a medium body, and a long, fruity, and wet-autumn-leaves finish. Highly recommended.

Notes
Brick & Mortar, founded in 2011 by Matt and Alexis Iaconis, has quickly earned a reputation for crafting vineyard-driven wines. With roots in Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino, the winery focuses on single-vineyard expressions of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and sparkling wines. Matt’s engineering background and Alexis’s advanced sommelier training bring precision and palate to the operation.
