The 2024 Morgon Côte du Py was aged entirely in concrete vats. This is quite open and well-defined on the nose, a mixture of redcurrant and blackberry, with a touch of black olive in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity and just a touch of chewiness towards the finish that should soften with time. Give this 12 to 18 months in bottle.(NM)
