A blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, and 9% Petit Verdot, this classic Bordeaux inspired blend does a pretty darn good impression of Saint-Estèphe! Powerful, deep, brooding red to black fruit, earthy spices, cigar box, leather, savory herbs. Full-bodied and intense but not jamy or sweetly fruited. This wine needs 30-45 minutes in the decanted to fully unwind, but once it does it sings. The varietals are seamlessly woven together, each lending something to the harmonious chorus.
