Review Date: 01/2025The 2023 Volnay Les Roncerets 1er Cru has an exquisite bouquet with expressive redcurrant and wild strawberry fruit, fine delineation, poise and vigor. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannins, perhaps not as complex as the aromatics at this point, but it is undeniably silky smooth on the finish. This is lovely.(NM)

From the part formerly known as Les Aussy. A little more definition to the ruby colour. Plenty of fresh red fruit, energy, cherries especially. There is a fair amount of oak which is integrating well with the fruit. Middleweight, balanced across the palate, with good length. Drink from 2029-2034. Tasted Nov 2024.
