2023 Domaine Michel Gros Chambolle-Musigny

Note: two-thirds of the total is from Les Argillières, a lieu-dit that directly abuts Musigny on its northern border with the rest being from Les Maladières, Les Mombies and Les Nazoires. An elegant, cool and equally pretty nose presents aromas of exotic tea, spice and a mix of red and dark pinot fruit. I very much like the mid-palate texture of the caressing medium-bodied flavors that possess a generous mouthfeel as well as an attractive bead of minerality on dusty bitter pit fruit-inflected finale where a hint of asperity emerges. I suspect that this will age out successfully.
