When you're talking about Austrian wine, you can safely assume it's going to be incredibly dry with some great acidity, and you'll almost never be wrong. You wouldn't be wrong here. Really lovely nose with this faint whisp of petrol dancing and winding its way through the whole thing, just something really faint around the edges with a lot of pure and clean fruit in the core. Peaches, apricots, nectarines, the whole kit and kaboodle of the lumpily pitted fruits and just a little touch of jasmine at the finish. This has a seductiveness to it, and sure okay I'll take a sip. The palate is pleasantly deep almost approaching mid-heavy with a really ripe peachpear and acidity that kind of builds as you continue to sip, really cleansing on the palate and something I could see helping me get through something heavy. I dig it big time.
