A visit to the property reveals just how extraordinary the farming program has become and why Hanzell now stands as a modern standard-bearer for regenerative, holistic, closed-loop agriculture. I can think of no better example of a more thoughtfully farmed and meticulously crafted true wine of terroir. The sheer amount of care, intention, labor, and craftsmanship invested in these wines is second to none - and I mean that wholeheartedly.
