Bodegas Beronia was established in 1973 by a group of Basque friends passionate about gastronomy. Located in the Rioja Alta sub-region, Beronia’s style is rooted in the traditions of Rioja but embraces innovation. One example of this is their pioneering use of mixed-oak barrels, combining American oak staves and French oak heads to achieve a unique blend of spice, vanilla, and subtle elegance. They focus on creating classic, food-friendly Rioja wines, primarily from Tempranillo blended with Graciano and Mazuelo for structure and aromatic complexity.
