This well-balanced red is animated by plum skin acidity, with a dark, minerally base underscoring crushed mulberry and blackberry fruit and herbed black olive notes, plus hints of vanilla and graphite. Light tannins define the finish. Tempranillo, Garnacha and Mazuelo.

Bodegas Beronia was established in 1973 by a group of Basque friends passionate about gastronomy. Located in the Rioja Alta sub-region, Beronia’s style is rooted in the traditions of Rioja but embraces innovation. One example of this is their pioneering use of mixed-oak barrels, combining American oak staves and French oak heads to achieve a unique blend of spice, vanilla, and subtle elegance. They focus on creating classic, food-friendly Rioja wines, primarily from Tempranillo blended with Graciano and Mazuelo for structure and aromatic complexity.
