2023 Platt "Estate" West Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

The Estate Chardonnay is a barrel selection from across the Platt vineyard and shows the fresher side of the two inaugural Chardonnays. It opens with a hint of reduction that quickly gives way to vibrant aromas of citrus peel, lemon verbena, ripe starfruit, and soft white flowers. Fermented and aged on its lees in 35% new French oak, with just enough stirring to lend a subtle, silky texture, it stays bright, focused, and mineral-driven.
