Notes
Marisa Cuomo’s 2023 "Fiorduva" is a legendary white wine that defies gravity, crafted from indigenous grapes (Fenile, Ginestra, and Ripoli) clinging to the vertical cliffs of Furore. The nose is profound and intensely aromatic, bursting with notes of ripe apricot, broom flowers, and tropical fruit, layered with hints of toasted almond and a distinct, sea-spray salinity. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and luxuriously textured, with a creamy richness that is perfectly cut by a vibrant, volcanic acidity. The finish is exceptionally long and resonant, echoing with savory mineral notes and sun-drenched Mediterranean herbs. A monumental Italian white of rare beauty and power. Founded in 1980 by Marisa Cuomo and Andrea Ferraioli, the estate has a cellar carved into the rock at Furore. Fiorduva is fermented in small oak barrels and aged on its lees.
