The 2022 Sand Stone is composed of 40% Grenache, 28% Petite Sirah, 27% Syrah, and 5% Graciano. Very deep garnet-purple colored, it jumps from the glass with exuberant notes of blackberry pie, raspberry preserves, and dried mulberries, followed by hints of Indian spices and dusty soil. The full-bodied palate reveals surprising energy with black and red berry layers and a firm, grainy texture, finishing long and spicy. (LPB)
