It's complex, nuanced and nicely structured, with abundant, fine-grained tannins and a long finish. I wonder if the depth comes from the 35% of old vines in the blend that also contains 45% Touriga Franca and 10% each Touriga Nacional and Sousão. It comes with 102 grams of sugar, pretty similar to its siblings. Like at Dow's, the wine fermented in modern automated lagars and aged in large old oak casks for 18 months. 24,900 bottles produced.
