The purple-hued 2016 Red Blend Henry Brothers Vineyard (57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, and 16% Petit Verdot) is outstanding, offering a great nose of cold campfire, blueberries, bay leaf, and cedary spice. It has background minerality, some firm mountain tannins, beautiful purity, and a great finish.

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Henry Brothers Vineyard is soft and pliant, with no hard edges for a young Cabernet and plenty of radiant fruit. Medium in body yet supple and full of flavor, the 2016 is another wine that will drink well right out of the gate. All the elements are very nicely balanced in this expressive and highly inviting Cabernet from Sequoia Grove. (AG)
